Introduction

This product provides an AI companion. That makes some of your data unusually personal — conversations, memories you choose to save, and relationship history. This policy explains exactly what we store and why.

Information we collect

1. Account information — your email, name, and sign-in credentials (passwords are hashed; OAuth tokens are stored securely).
2. Onboarding preferences — preferred name, pronouns, timezone, communication style, notification preferences, and your adult-age confirmation with the legal version you accepted.
3. Companion data — the fictional identity you created (name, background, personality) and its creation inputs.
4. Conversations — messages between you and your companion, kept so your companion can remember context.
5. Memories — entries you explicitly create, edit, pin, or delete, with an edit history that records only which fields changed, never previous content.
6. Relationship state — numeric emotional and relationship values plus stage-transition audit records containing only numbers, never message content.
7. Safety records — when automated moderation intervenes, we store a minimized incident: category, severity, and action. We never store the flagged message content in these records.
8. Billing data — orders, subscriptions, and credit transactions. Payment card details are handled by payment processors, not stored by us.

How we use it

• To run the product: generate replies, recall memories, compute relationship state, and account for credits.
• To keep the product safe: automated review of messages and replies against our safety policy.
• To bill correctly and compensate failed generations automatically.
• We do not sell your data or use your private conversations for advertising.

AI processing

Your messages and companion context are sent to AI model providers to generate replies and run safety checks. Providers are contractually restricted to processing on our behalf.

Your controls

• View, correct, pin, and delete your companion's memories at any time.
• Deleting a memory removes it from all future conversations.
• Restricted-sensitivity memories are never shared with the AI in chat.
• You can request account deletion; associated companion data, conversations, and memories are removed.

Data retention and security

Data is retained while your account is active. Secrets are encrypted; access is scoped by ownership at every query. Safety incident records are retained for enforcement and legal purposes in their minimized form.

Age requirement

This product is for adults (18+) only. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
